Aston Villa may have another young Scottish talent in their sights for a summer move.

The Premier League side have been securing talent from Scotland in the past, signing Rory Wilson from Rangers in 2022.

Now they are said to be in the running to sign Aberdeen teenager Fletcher Boyd.

Per the Daily Record, Villa are seeking to swoop in and secure Boyd as soon as possible.

The attacking midfielder has impressed with Scotland's Under-15s and U16s.

Aberdeen are not eager to sell, as they have already lost other talent for modest fees.

The Scottish club saw Lewis Pirie poached by Leeds United for a modest £200,000 fee last summer.
