Barcelona coach Xavi has canceled training today in the aftermath of Ilkay Gundogan's blast for his teammates after defeat to PSG.

Gundogan took aim at Ronald Araujo, Robert Lewandowski and Joao Cancelo in a post-match blast as Barca were eliminated from the Champions League.

With the locker room split after the comments, Xavi chose to cancel training on Thursday, says Sport.

In the aftermath of the backlash, Gunoogan's wife Sara posted to social to recall his winning roots with Manchester City: "This man is a guy who works hard and his football opinions aim to improve and he's giving his all for this team. His mindset is a Treble mindset."

Xavils decision was a surprise particularly with the El Clasico this weekend against Real Madrid.
